West Fest 2012 is officially being launched on the Sat 11th Feb in its new hometown, BALLINA. Official launch is being performed by local sporting hero Gavin Duffy and his team of West Fest Ladies.

The promoters, EBB Festivals, are keeping the headline acts TOP SECRET until the launch, which will be hosted in Hotel Ballina at a FREE EVENT featuring  Singer/Song Writer JAMIE LAWSON as well as local perfomers.

All will be revealed on the night and West Fest promises to be a huge success not to be missed by music lovers. Everyone is welcome to come along and enjoy a good evening of top class free entertainment starting at 9pm.

West Fest 2012 will again be staged in the “Big Top Tent” which easily holds over 5,000 people, has all the comforts of last year, flooring in the tent, ample clean toilets, 100ft Bar, as well as a range of diverse food vendors and fully serviced campsite.

The move to Ballina, Mayo’s largest town, ensures that concert goers are guaranteed access to comfortable public transport to The Show Grounds, where the two day event is being held.

Once again the promoters are giving lesser known and up & coming bands a chance to play to bigger audiences under the 60 metre canvas and auditions for those bands will be held closer to West Fest 2012.
